Admiral Metzger is a vice president of SAIS. His lecture was sponsored by the Colonel Leslie Callahan Memorial Endowment. Colonel Callahan, who retired from the Army after twenty-five years of service, taught for sixteen years in the Georgia Tech School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISYE). He established the Callahan Endowment is 1993.
